Being here doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re strong.

Meet Alexandra

Alexandra Mott

Hey there! I’m Alexandra, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I was born and raised in Alabama. After wrapping up my time at the University of Alabama (roll tide, obviously) in 2019, I decided to shake things up and head to Greenville, SC, to pursue my masters degree.

In 2021, I graduated with two masters degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University, while soaking up every bit of knowledge and experience I could get my hands on. During graduate school, I was an intern for a local psychologist, Dr. Mary Catherine Riner. During my internship, I truly learned what it really means to connect with clients and run a practice, as I was given so much trust, freedom, and independence to learn and grow.

Now, I run my own practice of Revive & Renew Counseling, a dream that has come true. I am pursuing my Perinatal Mental Health Certificate after completing the advanced trainings.

When I am not working, I am spending time with my husband, our two pups, Tucker and Clifford, our friends, or traveling!

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that fostering a genuine and empathetic therapeutic relationship is essential.

The therapeutic relationship is crucial, as it plays a key role in facilitating deep healing and personal growth by building trust and creating a safe place for exploration and self-discovery.

In therapy sessions with me, we will work collaboratively to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, while aiming to cultivate insight, resilience, and positive change in a safe and supportive environment.

Therapy with me is…

  • Therapy is personalized to each individual's unique needs, experiences, and goals, ensuring tailored support and guidance throughout the healing journey.

  • In therapy, honesty is valued and encouraged, fostering an environment where open communication and genuine exploration lead to authentic self-discovery and growth.

  • Therapy is empathetic, providing a compassionate space where individuals feel understood, valued, and supported in their journey towards healing and self-discovery.

  • Therapy delves deep into the intricacies of one's thoughts, emotions, and experiences, fostering profound insights and transformative growth.
